A new version of this great emulator, based on blueMSX and conceived for Mac OS X version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and higher, is available !

What’s new ?
- added Mac gamepad support, so you can connect one or two USB controllers to use them as joystick 1 and 2
- added support for compressed system ROM sets
- improved error handling for downloadable systems
- bug fixes

Just saw your message - you should be able to do a reset (from the MSX menu, or by pressing Command+R). What type of problem are you seeing?

I did some tests. The RESET don't work when I select a MSX Turbo R.

It works for me when I use a European Turbo-R. Which machine specifically (what is the name in the list of systems in the Preferences dialog)?

I have several Turbo-R roms bur not European Turbo-R roms. RESET causes a MSX black screen.

Seems to work for me. CocoaMSX has a pause feature that pauses emulation when the emulator window is not in the foreground. Have you tried clicking the emulator window after pressing Restart? You can also turn off the auto-pause feature from the General tab.

Ah, that must be it. No, I run Mountain Lion. I'll test it on SL later today - thank you.

Btw, is it possible to add a feature to disable the files filter. For example when i want to add disk it only shows .di and .dsk files, but I have a lot of old cd's with disk images that don't have an extension Sad
