IIt uses a custom loader (directly reading the cassette status bit from the ports) and applies also BitBuster compression. That's why it is so fast!
You are not using BIOS then? Will your loader therefore work not with OCM if it had a tape port? Not if you haven't followed the rules! It wont work with my TurboR either 
Probably not. I wanted to test it on the OCM at Barcelona's meeting, but people was so busy playing SPACE MANBOW on it.
