wow, that's amazing and funny. Similar vending machines usually available in many stores selling (toys? or candies?) for kids.
I'll try to check it out. I've been living in Japan for years, and haven't been to Akiba for so long ) : I wish if there is still a shop selling MSX goods.

Indeed if it were easy to buy form the west i'll buy because I ready have sound chips i.e. YM2151 and YM2413.

I went there a couple weeks ago and tried out the Z80 gashapon. The one I got is a D780C-1, a Z80 clone built by NEC under license from Zilog. It is known to have been used in several Sinclair and Sega products among others, but sadly I found no indication it was ever used by any MSX manufacturer (though that wouldn't be unlikely of course). Mine's a bit bruised at the edges, I wonder if it's secondhand? Still looking into what to do with it.
