Fantastic!
It's time for me to buy a MegaFlashRom SCC+ +SD +RAM and try to follow the leader! LOL!

more progress,
I have submitted another pull request (already merged) to support boot from 64kb fuzix rom (required to fit sd driver).
I can now read the sdcard and mount a filesystem on the emulator, but some bits are not fully working (not sure if the problem is the emulation).
Hope to have a fully working driver soon, with init process running and stuff.

init is running now. (not yet in real hw, only in the emulator)

I am going to prepare a disk image now with all the nodes and user space utils, then fix the boot in hw.
we are very close to a full bring-up. as soon as the system is a bit usable will publish the rom and the disk image
if anybody wants to try it out.

I'd like to try it, but I don't have MGFSCC+ SD

Will it be possible, in the future, use another storage devide? I have LPE-SDMMC, CF-IDE as readers, I have MGFSCC+ and MGFSCC as flash rom, and RAM available all around.

sure, the bring up is just the first step.
I plan to add later a Sunrise IDE driver. It should be no problem to boot the kernel from a MGFSCC and use the Sunrise IDE as mass storage.

I'm using #openMSX to debug my new hardware device, upgrading MSX2+ to Turbo R. I built (http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/compile.html) the openMSX on Visual Studio and started debugging(breakpoints) inside openMSX to solve the problems on this device. I think that technique be useful to you too!

@rogermn I think the openmsx debugger is actually available for windows. I use mac, and the openmsx console is quite ok for debugging. To me the problem is not with debugging on the emulator though, is debugging with the real hardware.

The openMSX debugger is available for Windows, Linux and Mac. A demo on Mac is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7VTWEtmfRk

Great progress geijoenr!

@manuel I saw that video and tried to find a build, but I could only find old snapshots for ppc mac, so I thought maybe is not maintained anymore. Should I try to build it?
