Btw, based on some pieces of advice from hardware gurus I improved the board's design a bit.

Please contact me if you need Eagle CAD sources and Gerber files.

What has changed? The grounding?

Yes, grounding and also capacitors are connected in a better way making them more effective.

The boards arrived from the Netherlands (thanks, Laurens). Need to assemble and test them in my Yamaha YIS503II MSX1...

I haven’t assembled mine yet, so I’m curious to hear.

I don't get it. I assembled the board, put *464 chips inside, connected CS1 (CS0 is routed to the board). The computer starts, but the TESTRAM still shows 16kb of VRAM. Is there any other way to verify that the memory is expanded? Or is there a problem with the design?

Btw, good thing is that the board fits perfectly even with the RAM chips installed in sockets.
