I've just added on the Resource page of the blueMSX website 2 new generic machines :

* Generic Korean MSX2+

* Generic Korean MSXturboR

These generic machines are actually the Generic Japanese MSX2+ or MSXturboR machines with an extra rom in slot 2-3 : SCREEN9PLUS.rom

This rom has been created by Korean fan Plaire, you can find the manual, the rom and bin versions on his blog :

http://blog.naver.com/plaire0/220372690919

The rom can also be added on non-Japanese machines, also on MSX1 and MSX2 machines (there are some incompatibilities : Korean MSX1/2 or a few machines with build-in software). However, the SCREEN 9 and CALL PALETTE commands will not work on MSX1. Besides, on Al-Alamiah/ Perfect Arabic Machines, you need to be in International mode (English generally, French sometimes) by booting while pressing CTRL key.

The first 16 kb of this rom is a modified version of the small Hangul rom found in CPC-61 console. The other 16 kb add new commands.

When you add this ROM, the machine boots with the Korean characters available under the CODE/KANA key.

If you want to launch with the original characters (Japanese in the new blueMSX generic machines), press on DEL while booting.

After booting, you can switch from one set of characters to another one with CALL FONT.

If you use CALL KANJI, it is no more possible to use SCREEN9. You need to reboot with CALL REBOOT or by making a reset.

Check the manual for more infos !

Just a rectification: CALL ADJUST is a general MSX2 instruction (but used only on machines manufactured by Daewoo, with internal lightpen interface - maybe also on Sanyo MPC-X and MPC-27) and SET SYSTEM has a different using on CPC-400(S) compared to CPC-300
