Hi folks, I think I found a bug in BlueMSX.
I was playing Penguin Adventure and I took 2 screen shots at the end of the first stage, where the penguim is thinking about her loved one (I've paused the emulator before).
Then I reset (software) and started playing again, and in the middle of "flying in space" bonus the screen began to flicker with the exact screen of the point of the screenshot. Then i went this way up to the end of stage, where I stopped playing.
If it's hard to understand, I have it recorder in my smartphone, I can upload it.
Hope it helps Smile

After 1 hour of attempts, I've finally found the right Screenshots folder :-)
The guilty I think it's Windows 10 :-( very bad s.o. in my opinion, it changes many things without advise, and it still has many bug (the searching in local simply doesn't work...).
Btw, I found the BlueMSX screenshots into this folder, this may help:
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\blueMSX\Screenshots
Thank to this, I've updated some informations:

Then I wonder where the screenshots end up in Windows 10 for openMSX... can someone test?

It looks like blueMSX is writing screenshots to the program files directory, something which is not allowed anymore for a long time (software can’t access the program files without admin permissions)… that VirtualStore exists since Windows Vista I think, it’s for compatibility with old software which attempts to write there anyway. It’s surprising that blueMSX still does that, and that you’ve only encountered it just now.

Ok so... solved thankyou.
Never had this problem before with blueMSX, it saved screenshots in its own folder (Win7 Pro 64bit).

Yes,, that's the philosophy of blueMSX, all subfolders in the blueMSX folder, not 2 different folders as for openMSX. That's why I've mentioned two workarounds for Vista and higher, the easiest method is with the zipped version of blueMSX.

Note : for openMSX, to get all subfolders in the same directory as openMSX, the only solution is to always download zipped version and to unzip it where openMSX has decided to store the subfolder screenshots, what means C:\Users\...\Documents\openMSX
