- It is called MSXdev, neither MSX2dev nor MSX2+dev. I guess it is quite descriptive about the goals, isn't it? Wink

I'm sorry you are so anal about the term MSX, excuse me while I help on the openMSX2+ emulator.

Can I just note that the turboR is in fact not an MSX at all since it lacks the cassette port? Anyhow, long live the original 8kB MSX system!!! (Preferably with rubber keyboard please, and a one-button joystick...) Arfness... Shocked!

So, a choice the organisers have to make is between 'stay small' or 'squeeze every drop out of the msx1'. As long as Konami did 2M roms and SCC games for MSX1, I'd say there's no reason to stick to normal ROMs and PSG. And those opportunities are here for everyone, everyone can benefit from bonusus like SCC and more ROM/RAM space, so no-one's doomed to walk behind, compared to some others..
