Do i need a specific versions of DOS or BASIC or OS version

When i find the image files do i need to convert or rename them

Also what's best modern loading device for using cas/cart/tap/disk image files on a real machine

Sorry for all the questions newbie too the MSX scene

Welcome 256 colors.
I'm sure you get more detailed answers to your questions.
Therefore you will get asked a few questions, too.
There are many devices which could serve you, a cheap one is the CasDuino. If you want to spend more money (and less time) there are several possibilities. But here are people who can explain much better than me.

I will probably go for the option that supports as many image files and options not bothered about the price willing to pay for quality

In that case, I would recommend a MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD with 512K memory option for your cartridge and disk image needs. There are also alternatives, but I have good experience with this one and it’s easy to use.

Cassette you can easily load from your phone with Android apps.

For cassete images, you can use anything that can output audio (the MSX "sees" a real cassette player in this case). A casduino is quite useless IMO, but YMMV (imagine playing trough and android phone and getting notifications - or the OS having hiccups for whatever reason; a standalone device will not have these problems). Loading software this way will be slow and the library will be limited, but this is by far the cheapest option.

MSXes were expandable and had software on cartridges (ROM) and disk (floppies) and there were even hard disk drives. Any other option besides loading trough cassette port will have some kind of mass media (essentially "seen" as a HDD by the MSX) and/or flashRAM (for loading real ROM images).

MegaFlashROMSCC+ is just one AIO solution (Carnivore is another solution; hamlet linked a thread dicussing these alternatives). There are also standalone Flash cartridges, but these make little sense unless you have some kind of mass media to update their contents (at least a floppy drive, but unless your MSX came with one, better get a SD card based solution).

You write your order via mail to manuel, you send him money via PayPal, bank transfer or give it in his hands and receive the stuff from him.
No padlock needed.
This is no business, this are all friends.

Security is a big big issue for me i can't just send random payments to random pay-pal accounts and hope for the best
I have emailed him saying he needs a secure store or eBay account or eBay store
