I tried a simple program with a (way too long) print statement
and when reading from a file I got a 'direct statement in file' and parsing the rest of the file was simply aborted.

However when entering this in the basic editor you will not get an error. only a truncated line when entered is pressed.
So that strategy only works when loading from a file :-(
