I have sent to OSHPARK Support Team for fix the Gerbers file so you can order PCB from them.

"Hi Alex,
Sure thing! The attached file set will upload properly. Sometimes Metric drill files work out in such a way that our system can't auto-correct the size reliably, which was the case here.

Remember just upload the ZIP file and almost done and cheap than PCBWAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!.

Chipdippers?

@topic: great, I still have a few of those machines lying around which could use some extra ram. Doesn't look too complicated with that pcb.

Wait... what is this? Is this just a whole replacement PCB for WX or WSX machines to make memory expansion to 512 KB easier? Would this be a viable option for me, with my lack of soldering skills -- or would it be just as hard as installing individual memory chips, in the long run?

Apologies if I'm WAY off base, but considering I just posted about my desire to upgrade my memory, and the general conclusion reached seemed to be "you're not ready; don't do it!", I find the possibilities raised here to be interesting ones. So assuming I haven't COMPLETELY misunderstood what this is... consider me intrigued! Wink

this PCB does not make RAM expansion easier.

1. Find J2 and J3 (R140 and R141 for WSX)
2. Cut J2 (desolder R140 resistor for WSX)
3. Bridge J3 (R141 for WSX)
4. Heat up and carefully lift pin 51 of T9769 chip from the motherboard and solder it to pin 52
5. Solder a wire from pin 50 of T9769 to the soldering pad marked as "CAS2" on the RAM expansion board

About the WX description, be aware there are two versions which differ quite visible.

It might not affect this ram build, but then again, maybe it does.

@Meits

Have you mapped all the differences between the two revisions?

Sorry I haven't. I could make hi res pics of both sometime though, if you're interested.
There's no difference in usage. They act exactly the same and have the same WP built in.
