I have opinions too - Hey Mr Hassink can you show it is done? Big smile

Also WebMSX - which isn't bad for playing a quick game but for serious development either use a real MSX or openMSX which has extremely high accuracy

Since Hassink wrote the SCC musics, maybe you and him could team up and make the ultimate Penguin Adventure game. Smile

Other people have played with the idea of Penguin Adventure music in SCC as well.

It is one thing to make real nice rearrangement in authentic Konami style... and then completely other to make such work on a real game environment... especially without access to source code. Both of these tasks require huge amount of skill and hard work. Taylor has made technically impressive reverse engineering by changing the musics, but I think the bit lukewarm receiving is mostly caused by the fact that these sounds are not "traditional Konami style" that people expect when they see their favorite childhood game revisited. While the new sound changes the feeling, it is quite controversial if the new style makes it better or just different. To be honest, it is quite easy to hear that the SCC would have more potential to color the sound. Now I feel that only very limited number of sounds are used to enhance the original musics.
