Hi, all, Are there good examples of non-konami games with a good level of quality (like konami did), manufactured by spanish sw houses like dinamic etc. (Excluding compile, or other japanese sw makers)?

In most of the times they ported zx spectrum games to msx with performances problems due to different video hw.

Relevo, Karoshi and some opera games. Imanok, Nerlaska, etc. Or do you mean back in the day.

yes, i was mean back in '80 era. Today there are some good examples of games that are better than those in '80.

My Idea is there was no so much efforts and some similarity with spectrum video gfx performances lead to low quality games, so i try to recall some exceptions.

"Livingstone supongo" from Opera I think is a good example:

maybe "Cosa nostra" as well, in terms of using MSX graphics:

But these games that Marno Bal is playing are not Spanish, right?

A common example of a MSX-exclusive by a spanish company is "Temptations" although perhaps the jumping noise is a bit too much hehe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srQ3FO_0h6E

I don't know if this can be considered a quality game but at least it was not a ZX Spectrum port:

Jai Alai by Opera Soft (MSX)

Interestingly it was released in 1991, shortly before all Spanish (and European) companies making software for 8bit home computers went bankrupt and, at a time, when 99,9999% of commercial MSX games made in Spain were Spectrum ports. If it were a Spectrum conversion you would expect something like this running at about 25% slower speed:

Jai Alai by Opera Soft (ZX Spectrum)

May be the post title should have been "Games from european sw houses mainly spain" where the msx version looks different from a straight ZX spectrum port.

I'd say Boulder Dash. I've spent countless hours on them...
