" the disk lock is not working inside " : Try inserting the disk 20/30 times and pushing it out again with the blue button. In the beginning, the blue eject button doesn't seem to work, but at a certain point it starts to work more and more
In this case, when I put the disk in, it stays in the drive and I have to remove it with my fingers, it doesn't lock and the blue button doesn't work at all (no spring effect). I have to take it apart and see what's inside. But it's not the main thing now. Still I don't know what is causing the pink screen. Any ideas?
" Still I don't know what is causing the pink screen " - have you try the Scart output ? (RGB21)
Yes, I made a rgb21 to scart cable from the manual on this portal and it's even worse. Black and white image and unstable.
The picture from HitBit Art i have output through RCA video out
About call hitbit
"From MSX-BASIC, you can probably go back to this editor with CALL HITBIT or _HITBIT (but it needs to be confirmed)."
First, it says "probably ..."
No one really knows if it works, and I can see from my own experience and from information from you that it did not work.
With these colors it must be a hardware problem in my case. On AV and RF the output is the same, pink basic. When I switch between video and computer mode there are always different background colors .... so something is wrong but I don't know what
The CALL HITBIT instruction is
* not available on HB-55, HB-75
* available on HB-101, HB-201 and HB-501
So, it seems that Sony changed again his logical approach with HB-701 and removed this instruction. I will remove this info from the Wiki for HB-701.
I also notice that the menu screen is a little different from the pictures taken from Sony ad. Maybe an improved version of the firmware (or the ad was made before final version of the firmware ???? - With Sony, all is possible, not always logical!)
