I haven't played this in a while, but I remember clearing that part. Here's what I remember...
[spoiler]IIRC there were two candles in the ritual room and then one on top of a bookshelf near the beginning of the game (see 2:53 in the gameplay video in the first post, in which the candle is not picked before entering the cellar).[/spoiler]

Yeah, I found the one on the book shelf, but the ritual room only appears to have one...

Ah, okay, I remembered wrong; there was only one candle in that room.

[spoiler]Two rooms before the ritual rooms there are the three tall lighter-red tall stools. Go past these and up for another candle.[/spoiler]

haha, I was thinking about this this weekend, and realizing I had not finished that blogpost!! But ok, it's thanksgiving break this coming weekend here in the US, so, hopefully I have some time to finish the writeup!

Please consider a save game feature. Please. Dying is very easy and it gets frustrating fast to restart from the beginning, especially when I am engrossed with the plot and would like to see more cut scenes or further go into the plot of the story.

Can you save it in RAM or save it in a tape? I am intending to get tape recorder for MSX as the mean of saving my games from any game. I consider the tape drive as just a memory card for PS 2, but for MSX.

ah, yes, that is a features many people has requested! It's in my list. There are still a few improvements I'd like to make to the game for a potential future update, and I'll make sure that I can fit that in!
