Anyone got a Konami HyperShot?

A Konami controller with 2 buttons labeled "run" and "jump", I think. If you have it, could you test it with a Basic joystick tester and describe what it behaves like?

I don't have that particular piece of hardware, but I'm sure that the 'run' button corresponds to the 'right' cursor key, while striking the 'jump' button resembles the space bar.

Thanks. I assumed either that, or the run button alternating between left and right similar to how it's played on a joystick. Ah, the memories of getting physically tired by playing such MSX games

hypershot have a "diode" connect between up and right wire

is the secret for don't breaking your keyboard !!
