Overflow happens because update() method is not called for some reason. I have changed algorithm a little, however if it will not work again, please let's take it off the forum until we will fix it (my email address is available on the web-page).
Well, I have about 10-15 applications open concurrently almost all the time, and it may be the cause...
1.6.0_10 (latest one)

Same problem here. Currently using Win2K, Firefox 3.0.3, JRE 1.6.0b6.
Just tested it with the same config and IE 6.0. It does not work but the progress bar presents some improvement
Pitpan,
Try again - I have just uploaded new build 15 mins ago. It could be slow due to connection speed to the remote server (however it _should_ show progress). If something you think goes wrong please email me output from java console.
Eugeny
The Java Console gives me the following:
---- Started...

and again and again the same messages, without changes in the progress bar. Using FireFox ATM.
Anyway, thank you for your help and interest.
I do not think it is related to browser or OS. Is it possible for you to install/upgrade to latest JRE (1.6.0_10-b33, there's a link at my page to the Sun Update)? If it will work, then my java code just incompatible with older versions of JRE...
Eugeny
I do think it is related to the browser. On my home PC it works on Opera but not on Firefox.
I hear jungle sounds while loading this thread. Awesome
Updating to the newest JVM has done the trick. Now it fully works both in IE and FF.
I've just tested it a bit and I have to say that I do not like the "directional control" feature for jumps and falls. IMHO this aspect makes the gameplay quite different from the original game. Anyway, I'll spend some time later this evening.
Congratulations for the game!
Eugeny,
If you want, I could take a look at your source at home and try helping to find the problem. Mail me at erikduijs (at) yahoo (dot) com if you're interested.
Cheers,
Erik
