Hi, I am looking for the latest version of this emulator.
Apparently is 0.48b, but the official website is down and I can only find 0.42 and 0.46b Sad
Does anyone have this version? Could you please send it to me? Or do you know where can I get it?

Hehe, I am well aware of those superior emulators... the problem is they both run too slow on a 450 mhz pc.
Meisei runs great but only emulates MSX. I need another one for MSX2. Tried NLMSX and it *almost* runs at full speed :|

Thank you don't worry. NLMSX runs fine, there was something else using cpu time in the bg Smile
Although, I still want to give paraMSX a try, so if anyone knows...

openMSX should run fine on your PC, just make sure you got the latest release and turn down some settings, if necessary.
openMSX also runs on a 200MHz ARM at full speed.

paraMSX is very good, the problem is that some distributions comes with copyrighted ROMs providing a link to download those packs is illegal.
This software came ready to use.

~mk~, if you like, please test openMSX as well, using the performance tuning tips. I'm curious how it runs on your system.

BTW, what's the best emulator to use on an old Pentium 1 120mhz laptop?

-DOS-
I tried BrMSX but sound is a problem...

Tried fMSX-DOS by Marcel de Kogel? I used that for many years on my previous PC.
