Hi everyone, can somebody help me please? I bought an Iomega ZIP100 plus drive and my Novaxis doesn't recognize it and hangs
The Novaxis is set to SCSI ID 7 and the external ZIP100 plus drive is set to SCSI ID 6. I read something about terminators. Do I have to use this as well since my ZIP100 plus drive autodetect if termination is needed or not and it does not have a seperate switch for it. I also checked if the ZIP100 drive works on my pc, and it does
And if I need a terminator, do I need an active one or a passive one? In the original manual Iomega says the terminator must be set at the pass-trough-connector.
Just look at this picture to get an impression of the back of the zipdrive: www.iomega.com/support/images/iom_sup_zip_100_plus_rear.gif
And another question: I want to swap files from MSX to PC and vs. It must be in FAT12. Can Windows XP handle FAT12? I did some tests, but without luck so far. Please help....

Booting from zipdrive isn't neccessary, but accessing is very important. Strangly, the Novaxis detects the external ZIPdrive on ID 5 or 6, but shows "Device type unkown" when I hit <DEL>. What can that be? I tought it's something with terminators. Or I just to have to hit <GRAPH>, start DOS-2 from floppy and then use MAP32.COM?
