If you guys wish, I could tell you the experience "through the eyes of a n00b".
Because, I just got reminded, how it could be that I perfectly know openMSX is an excellent emulator, since I've seen the great things you can do with it, but still never ever use it.

Ofcourse I exaggerated to make my point, but seriously, things like x86, x64 ?!?
For you that may be perfectly normal terms, but I had to google that! Smile
I only *bought* my computer, I didn't *build* it, you know. Wink

You have a good point there, which is also why I myself still hadn't announced the site officially with a newspost..
Anyway, the links in the right menu should be more clear to you, as they talk about 32 bit and 64 bit.. In doubt, get 32 bit.

I'll try to spend some more time on the site today.

I screwed up my turboR config in blueMSX and decided to completely uninstall the emulator and install it again. Without success though, still couldn't boot as a turboR. Even after deleting bluemsx.ini.......

Try also removing the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\blueMSX" after uninstalling... should help Smile

Spend some time with your idea of creating a complete pack of ROMS and hosting it somewhere else. Upload it as John Mashmear and always deny that identity.

That way, newbies (or ppl that hate messing up with XML files, paths and etc... specially when they keep reinstalling everything including Hackintoshes and etc...) like me, would just click a button somewhere, a dialog box showing: "You're evil if you download this copyrighted material, and I have NO responsibility at all (blah blah blah)" and then your script would gracefully download EVERYTHING, including maybe a hardfile with games, from the EVIL HACKER John Mashmear, and those would be perfectly configured...

THAT would do more, MUCH MORE, for openMSX than adding "rocket science" perfection to r800 or Moonsound emulation...

Thanks guys, I followed all the tips.

Anyway, I had apparently screwed it severly since only re-installing did the trick.

Thanks again for the advices.
