Without MSX:
- I would've had other friends in my childhood (not that that is necessarily a bad thing) 
- I wouldn't be working for Engine Software probably
- I wouldn't know as much about computers as I do now
- I would've been forced to start a professional chess-carreer
So your entire life depends on what kind a computer you had in your childhood
Ahh well... it's not that dramatic I think... but it did have a rather drastic impact on my life to say the least. And then dwelling back on how I came soooo damn close to buying a C64 in stead of an MSX-1 computer... Most importantly: ...I'm glad I chose MSX back then 
(and I owe that to my uncle who worked at philips at that time)
MSX was/is the snake behind me that hisses what my damage could have been.
Venomous voice, tempts me, drains me, bleeds me, leaves me cracked and empty.
