I just read ABI's reaction to this newspost and thought... INDEED! there are many, many, many unfinished projects which advanced quite a lot.

The BCF megademo, Core Dump, X-Static, Micro Mirror Men etc. etc. etc.

Maybe it's a good idea to make a list of unfinished projects, check how far advanced these projects were and what needs to be done to finish them after all. With some combined efforts, we might be able to finish a project or two.

What about finishing the Solid-C compiler? I heard that it was better than Hitech-C, but I believe that it never was finished. Is this true?

the problem is the lack of time

i bet that the mayority are not more a teenage with much free time...

the adult responsabilities are killing this hobby.

the other problem is... many developers left some proyects for work in other more interestling.... i know that feeling

A great idea indeed! And although most of the projects may still remain unfinished, it's nice to have an overview of all the ideas that were ever thought out. Another resource for the MSX Resource Center Tongue . And I think Sargon has many titles to add as well Wink .

????

How do you know? That is one of the projects we never actually announced! Actually it was mainly a project of John Hassink. He composed many songs and wrote a game scenario. But, never finished indeed.

But again - how do you know about this? LOL!
