I would actually be very interested in that Big smile I tried to do some MSX coding with a C compiler, but I just couldn't get a grasp on it, so it would be amazing to get to actually learn it!

Ah, you even want to code yourself? Awesome. As every decent European is asleep right now (I'm one of those - well, European but not decent), just wait until the great minds see this convo. Wink

I forgot to add: working with colour limitations is probably as fun to you as composing on only three channels of PSG is to me. I love the challenge of making the most of limited means, and using suggestion to allow the spectator (or listener) to fill in the blanks. I believe that with both MSX1 graphics as with PSG music, it's a form of magic/trickery which can yield very satisfying results.

I know exactly what you mean Big smile, I have dabbled in composing music for older sound chips as well, and it's such an amazing thing to see creativity come out of such limited hardware.

Wow! Those are really beautiful pieces you posted here!

I'll be finishing the vol.3 of MSX Pixel Art Collection very soon. Would you be allow me to include your images in it?

Thank you! Smile

Would you want to be credited as R_Leo_1, or any specific name/alias?

BTW, what software did you use to draw the images?

Really? A fan? That's always awesome to hear, and that keeps me inspired to do it at all. Smile Thank you.

Then I must say I'm also not only a fan of your channel, but a huge fan of your music compositions. The Zombie Incident FM soundtrack is one of my favourites.

Ok, R_Leo_1 will be then.

piroPAINT_9918 is a very good drawing tool. So, you have the native .SC2 files. Could you please send me these files so I don't have to back convert from the PNG images? You can send them to my e-mail: sdsnatcheralpha at that big mail service from google.

I myself use The GIMP with a 8x8 grid enabled and Pixel Polizei running in parallel to alert me whenever I place incorrect pixels.

I took the liberty of putting my crayons in your Kwalgart image, to de-speccy-fy it and make it more MSX looking. I hope you like the result: :)
