There are no really suitable tools for Windows... OpenMSX has some really neat features to help you to figure out what you need to patch , but it is not really meant to be used for editing.... How ever you can use it to run Super-X. (That is how I use it too)

If I remember correctly, SMS is backwards compatible with SG-1000, right?
So, MSX1 games should be easy to port. At least without sound.
In theory shouldn't be hard to create a small translator from the YM2149 commands to the fm chip inside SMS.

Maybe the guy from DSK-PRO can do it!

That's way more complex. Probably easier to remake the games using maps/gfx and sound.

Except hang on the others games are Genesis titles and not SMS. The third screen is from Wonderboy VI

I love this console.

I remember what Sega took a MSX title and ported to SMS: Psycho World.

In openmsx you can use "Dir as disk"-feature. Just extract the files to a folder and point the folder on Catapult. (You need to use MSX that has disk drive ie. Panasonic FS-A1GT) As long as the directory size is smaller than 713KB you are good to go. BlueMSX has also this feature, but it is read only and you need to be able to save as well, so you need to install ie. Disk manager. Create an empty disk, drop the files to the window, save the image as DSK-file and point that file as a disk to the emulator.

Generally BlueMSX is much more nice to use, but it lacks features like "When this I/O port is written, stop and show what you are doing" In openmsx there is no limitations about what you can do, but you need to learn to write some Klingon first. If you want to go pro, you can install harddisk to the emulator, but that is completely different subject.
