Hi Hydragon,

I can't understand what you mean. Could you lead me there by a concrete URL please?

I could talk with Hydragon at his Twitch. Now I understand what he meant. That was a great experience for me. Thank you so much, Hydragon!!

Looks great. One small suggestion: Use several different kinds of explosions for the ships and then pick them by random. Makes it more interesting to look at. Often overlooked when making games.

@ghost_jp just wondering, how many levels are in current beta? ( current replay is at lvl 14 )

I played it for a short while (2x game over), I got to lvl 4.

The bullets are a bit hard to see when they are over the forest part (right side of the screen).

Good job on the game so far!

I couldnt get joystick to work though (both in openMSX and blueMSX), the ship will just fly to the right bottom of the screen.

Great work! Hopefully this is not impolite to suggest, but have you considered submitting this to the MSXdev contest? It would be an excellent entry, and probably also inspire others to make something awesome.

Thank you for your uploading video, Hydragon. That is very impressive because I can never reach to level 11 although I am the author. X-D

Basically this game is endless. One lap consists four levels. I mean level 1 has its enemy appearance table in common with level 5, 9 .... for example. The scrolling background is changed to one of four along with not level but score. The difficulty; mainly density of enemies' bullet, is maximized and fixed at level 17 in the beta version. This specification might be improved in the final version, but basic concept must be the same.

General port-1 is dedicated to mouse in the beta version. See also the instruction. Not only you but some testers say to me that this specification is unnatural because not a few MSXers fix their joypad into port-1. So that will be changed to port-2 in the final version. The visibility problem will be also a little improved. Anyway, thank you for your advice.

Currently I have no intention to take part in MSX dev'17 with this game. Because this is just my warming up after twenty years blank, now I have the other development plan of another ROM format shooter for MSX1. Anyway I'm very proud that you like this game and invite me to the contest. Can I afresh make an entry with this game if I can not complete another one till October?
