First images of the new game we are developing: System Saver (provisional title).
It's a graphical adventure with “beat them up” and RPG components, made for MSX2 and higher (8 bit computer with 128K of RAM and 128K of video memory, and processor 3.5Mhz, for those who do not know), the graphics mode is SCREEN 8 (resolution of 256x212pixeles) with 256 colors on screen !! Something most unusual for a MSX2 !!
The songs are for Moonsound / OPL4 (also in FM pac and music module).
Here you can see three areas of the city (slums, park and port) and some characters and enemies.
These screenshots were made using the emulator openMSX.
Please comment on what you think, good points and bad points. The project is in its infancy and now is the time to change fundamental concepts as we are still on time. We look forward to your opinions, both good and bad (although we hope to be good).
