The problem is that there is no format hint [KonamiSCC] in the filename. You can see that if you place the mouse pointer on top of the Cartridge1 button. A tooltip will appear with the name of the file loaded.

In the current version, this tooltip will also show the format that was detect and is being used, for easy detection of problems related to ROM format.

WebMSX currently uses the INNER filename when you load zipped files. That is the problem! Your file inside the ZIP has no hint.

Any suggestions? I can't use both the INNER and the OUTER filename... I have decided to use the inner filename, as its usually more reliable. Maybe I could use both for the hints detection, which can lead to conflicts.

But, the easiest way is if you update, since in the current version we have the new parameters to force the ROM format when needed, so you don't need the filenames hint anymore.

Aha, so this probably means some other files on my site are broken now as well :) Because I always added the hint to the archive filename and never to the .rom file inside the archive.
I'll go through my files and update the names in the archives.

Or use the new parameter, so you will never need to change the filename when you update the roms.

WMSX.CARTRIDGE1_FORMAT = "KonamiSCC";

Not a bad idea. I will have a look for that next week Smile For the moment, I have changed the names inside the archives Smile

Hahaha... That would be an option indeed! I'll do that when I get frustrated enough. For now, I will just keep on trying to get through the game fair & square.
BTW: Over 100 people have played the game (with sampled voice of course!) on my site. It's on the #1 spot of most played games, directly followed by Transball :-)
