Hello all,
Is there any interest in a Code Blocks template for using SDCC with Hex2bin for DOS1 and DOS2 ?
This will be without libraries, the compiler SDCC and the Hex2bin program, purely the .cbp file and a sample main.c.

You only need to change some linked filenames (set dummies in the cbp file) and change a filename in a batch file for converting the .IHX file into .COM with hex2bin. the CRT0's are already set (except the files which need to be downloaded from konamiman's website).

If someone wants the template, please let me know here, then I will assemble a zipfile with readme file.

I also could not find a definitive set of MSX(1/2/2+/TR) libraries for SDCC. Does one exist or should I continue completing my own? (I did find some incomplete libraries, or only for MSX1)

There exists. We produce a MSX Magazine focused in SDCC development.
You don't know much about it because we receive a lot of boycott and tripping from all sides.
Magazine is in Catalan language. Number 3 available, number 4 in development.

Very cool effort La Gaseta Msx!
I did program a small game engine in ASCII MSX-C , but would rather stick to ANSI C , so using SDCC is the logic choice, plus now having a better understanding of assembly helps allot. So i wanted to use Code Blocks, because I always love it, and it supports SDCC pretty well.
Big chances are that I will create a DOS version of GR8cfg as a first project. Not sure if it will be ready for the upcoming Nijmegen 2019 fair. I will try.. Wink
