Just for the fun.. but i was playing with Tetris source code and I added support for scaling mode in every resolution. So you can play Tetris in every form you like to do. I did my best to get a good ratio 1:1 Big smile Hope to get a full screen version in the future so you can toggle between full screen and windowed using GRAPH+ENTER Wink

Anyway.. i need to fix more things and make it better. Here is a short demo Big smile

(it looks less smooth in the movie .. but this is because MP4 compression)

Hope you see the fun of this.

That's mental. I dont recall ever seeing a 8bit game that scales before Smile

Hey, that works pretty well.

By the way, I would have expected the scaling to occur when you resize the window, instead of having to press these -/+ buttons.

Good suggestion! This must be possible to do. Only thing is that if i do free scaling it will be worse for the game layout as the 1:1 ratio gets broken. But i could redraw the form after the resize in the correct ratio or so.

Or do the free scaling in predefined steps?

Yes pre- dedefined steps are possible. (this is currently the case.) I step always 1 pixel for one Tetris block. After that i resize the FORM to the size of the game in totalsize. I can change the form to scalable. But after the user decided to resize the FORM i have to set the form size again which is most close to the size of the chosen size of the user. This is something i can do but i'm not sure if that is nice.

Ok .. it is far from perfect... as there are still small bugs.. like double refresh and not perfect fit .. but it seems it is getting better! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLjhIIzO80c&feature=youtu.be It is very cool to make this scalable ! .. thanks Manual for asking ;)

Really funny that you can change it from Micro-Tetris to Mammoth-Tetris with any number of steps inbetween Smile
