Hi all. Things are starting to go better for me in the real life side after some months of, let's say, uncertainty in the job and economy side. So I have now some energy (and some, not very much, time) to start doing something in the geek-obsolete side again.
First of all I want to resurrect MSX Trivial Dropbox, which as you may know, is not working since May 2013 due to a change in the Dropbox API. I exchanged some messages with Latok about this, and in the last message he sent me (that was six months ago and I didn't reply it... shame on me!) he told me that the MegaFlashRom SCC+ SD + DenyoNet combination does not work in his Turbo-R GT... the computer simply does not boot!
Since I don't have a GT it will be difficult for me to trace what is happening. Someone else is able to reproduce this problem? Also, someone could suggest what can be going wrong? I guess that it could be a problem with either the timer interrupt or the extended BIOS hook, but I don't really know what can a GT be doing to prevent the computer from booting with that cartridge combination. By the way I have Turbo-R ST + MegaFlashRom + DenyoNet and it boots and works perfectly.
Oh, and Latok also told me that in a MSX2 the new MSXtdb tools did not work, but in the end it was due to a bug in the DenyoNet BIOS. I plan to publish a new version as soon as I can sort out the GT problem.
