Hello, I'm trying to play Kenpelen Chess using BlueMSX, but I really don't know how to start the game...
After the intro credits screen (Made By Etc.), I can only change the game music by pressing a button.
No Menus, No Graphics, No way to start the game... Maybe I miss something.
I tried different Roms and Machine Settings, but nothing seem to work...
Help please! Smile

I had to remove the mouse from JoyStick Port 2, thats weird!
Hope this will help someone! Wink

Actually this is very good tip. I've seen several programs that use joystick port directly and get either hanged or misbehaving when mouse is connected. Naturally this is a programmers mistake, but affects multiple games. Thanks for reminding. I'll add this to "MSX compatibility problems"-wiki page.

Yeah, there's actually quite a few programs (games) suffering from this, it's why I'd have the mouse disconnected unless I need it.

The weird thing is, that is not a "common knowledge", and is hard to figure it out.
Anyway, there is a list of msx games that support mouse?

Radarsoft’s Breaker and Zoo come to mind, as well as Infogrames’ L’Affaire and Les Passagers du Vent. Also MAD’s Shuffle Puck.

Generation MSX has a "Input Devices Supported" field, but unfortunately you can’t filter by it in the search query.

I've contacted Sandy to see if it's possible to search by input device, and if not, to consider it as a feature request. Wink

I guess it's not, in addition to a list with games that support a mouse it might be handy to compile a list of software that refuses to work with it.... a lot of trial and error to figure that out, though.
