I always thought it was quite logical the MSX2+ was called that way, as it had little changes compared to the MSX2. Hoverr, there are more 2+-es in this world. Like the

XRGB2+ upscan convertor
Streetfighter EX 2+

etc.

I wonder

a) Did ASCII start this unusal 2+ naming?
b) Can you spot more 2+ items on the web?
c) How many items were called '2+' as a reference to MSX?

enjoy! Smile

dunno if it's relevant Smile

msx1 - msx2 - exception - msx3 (tR orso)

where the exception is the msx2+

Nemesis 1 - Nemesis 2 - Salamander (exception) - Nemesis 3
Xak 1 - Xak 2 - Fray (exception) - Xak 3 (T.o.G.)

hmm, it's prolly not relevant Smile

The MSX1 computers with V9938 VDP (there were a few) were already being called 'MSX+' by many.

turboR is not MSX3.
Xak 1 - Xak 2 - Fray (exception) - Xak 3 (T.o.G.)
Tower of Gazzel is not Xak 3.
hmm, it's prolly not relevant Smile

Fray takes place simultaneously with XAK2: Rising of the Red Moon. So it's not an exception Smile
