@ MäSäXi: it is a Jap release? I see.
Regarding your question(s), I only know the answer to part of it.. (book? movies?)
So I'll leave the complete package to the experts.
EDIT:
I'll go slightly off-topic one more time and then STFU.
Here is a remix of Hubbard's Jet Set Willy music:

And here:

I found something rather naughty:
As originally released, the game could not be completed due to several bugs (...)
Initially Software Projects attempted to pass off the most severe (...) as an intentional feature to make the game more difficult (...)
However, they later rescinded this claim and issued a set of POKEs to correct the flaws.
ROFLOL.. :D
Yes, here is japanese release, but it has certain wrong screenshots. Title screen had just "press fire to start" or "press any key" or something like that and there is also loading screen and anti-piracy code questioning screen included in japanese releases screenshots. I am quite sure they existed only in original cassette game, not in japanese cartridge and beecard release. ;)

About Jet Set Willy´s bugs, I don´t know if some of them had been fixed on MSX version or not, as I read part of your link and I don´t remember monsters disappearing from the chapel if I entered the attic first... though there is long time I loaded it last time, so maybe I should load it again some day. :) But at least it had a bug when you climbed upwards from the hall and then dropped yourself to your death to the right, every time Willy died, Willy was put on the top of that same room, in the air, once again and again, until all your lives were lost.
I think software projects did a good job as a company, when it released fixing pokes in magazines. As, HOW MANY buggy 1980s games from other software houses you know, which got fixing code from software house AFTERWARDS?!?! I don´t know any.
Demonseed, I allow you to answer to parts you know. :) Though it may give others easier way to answer all questions. ;) The choice is yours. :) But anyway, those questions are not that hard, if you are thinking the right room. :)
Should I give some hints? As it is romantic scene, just think all the rooms which have WOMEN!!!! ._,
Anyone who loved Jet Set Willy should know the answer! :)
Nah, just try and guess and give some answers, I don´t mind if you gals and guys give wrong answers. :)
every time Willy died, Willy was put on the top of that same room, in the air, once again and again, until all your lives were lost.
Yep, there's more platform games which have that little design flaw..

Good point - that's quite uncommon AFAIK.
O.k., about your question - I think to have misread it at first.
I thought you meant, there's a room with a woman in it.
Ofcourse, there's the Master Bedroom and Ballroom West (with the ballerinas turning into animals), but I don't think you mean that.
Didn't even beat the game, myself. Honestly, I do not know...
BTW, did you check out the remix of Hubbard's tune? I think it's pretty decent. Original is there, too.

That´s a bit sad, as it is quite easy to fix. (I mean at the time, when programmer was originally programming the game, not thirty years afterwards without knowing what is what in the code
) Even *I* understand that!
And back to my questions, Yes, there is a woman it that room.
But it is not your maid Maria nor that bunny which turn into ballerina. (I remember I really loved that ballerina idea back then and watched it a long time
)
It´s another room what I meant in my question.
I haven´t completed Jet Set Willy either, but I think there is just one room I had never seen in the past. Entrance to Hades.
I listened the beginning of that hubbard´s remix, but I will listen it afterwards more carefully, now I am too eager to listen my "new" 33RPM and 45RPM records at the moment.....
Ok, here are some hints:
The book is well-known 19th century french novel and hero has a hump. That gives you an easy solution to all questions.
And I should mention, that Jet Set Willy II has same room (of course...!) but I meant other game which is based on that book and which book is referred in that particular Jet Set Willy´s room.
Well, that other game must be Hunchback then, and for the answer to the room, I've been a naughty guy as well, and went ahead looking at the map I found earlier: :D

Yes, too much hints! ;)
Demonseed, Jet Set Willy room is correct.
And "that other game" is correct too
but I actually asked "And which other computer game hero had same job to do?" So please name that hero.
After that, now you just have to answer book question. And what happens in that Jet Set Willy room? (this is probably the hardest one now....
)
Yes, I knew it becomes too easy after my last hints, but I knew that nobody will probably answer if I try to invent a bit harder hints for these questions.
So, please answer last remaining questions.
Oh sorry, I forgot.
The name of the hero is Quasimodo (Quasimodem? Hehe).
He's the poor hunched, deaf guy from Victor Hugo's "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame".
It's a sad story, really.
When I look at the map, I'm happy to see that I have managed to reach most of the rooms, but this one, I'd never seen or knew about.
Since I have posed a lot of questions in this topic already, I say - let the one who can tell what happens in the room be the next quizmaster.
Quasimodo/-em
is correct.
And book´s name is correct too.
No need to answer movie part anymore....
Well you have to play Jet Set Willy again to see what happens in that room!
And you really seem to be naughty boy, as you are tossing your chance to win to someone else.
I guess "what happens in that room" is now quite obvious, but maybe not.
Winner gets extra bonus point
by answering properly what happens (or may happen) there when you perform that particular thing.
To see what happens, I would have to cheat, using savestates and/or POKEs (because of time shortage).
Since I already cheated my way to the anwer of the Esmerelda bit - it would not be fair.
So I'll decline this one (for now).
I think you'll die!
