Time Pilot, fight yer way in 5 different time periods
Guillian is away today, but mailed me the answer. It's Athletic land, when reaching stage 100. (Who -ever- made it to that, eh? ). Bart mentioned the game, so.. you're up!
Athletic Land is a little more easier, if you go to the left (in stead of going to the right)
Of course, you can now cheat with an emulator with save states
...or the infamous Game Masters
I don't see save-states as cheating btw cheating to me is modifying the gamecode code to become invincible orso, or get a full weapon arsenal from the start.
If you die at high levels then you can come back there again, for sure.. it just takes a shitload of time again, but eventually you *will* get there. Save-states don't make the game easier, it just saves a lot of time

Btw, do you have checked the new blueMSX manual ? Three pages about Konami combinations and Gamemasters !

Hmmm .... Save states are a subtle form of infinite lives
Pff another question....
Okay, R-Type is a great screen 4 shooter and was pretty fancy for its time. R-Type has been released on many other platforms (heck, the MSX version wasn't even close to being the first release). Name 10 platforms on which R-Type was released also. You may name platforms on which R-Type wasn't released as the original title (like R-Type DX), but you need to name at least 5 systems on which the game was released with the original title (just "R-Type").
GameBoy, C64, Genesis, Megadrive, PC-Engine, Arcade, MSX, PC, NES, SNES, PlayStation
