Your maniacal urge to reply in a way that you have to insult people is truly sad.
You must be looking for insults with a microscope!

You are a grown man, aren't you?
Actually my length and shoesize increased in the past year, so I'm not too sure of that.

As for me: People that keep on changing their stories, aren't the persons I would believe straight away. The fact that you do, well... Smile
1. Nishi never claimed MSX already meant 'Machines with Software eXchangeability' in 1983. So there is nothing to believe or disbelieve there.
2. I never claimed to believe Nishi.
3. You obviously haven't read well. See notes 1 & 2.

What Nishi HAS claimed (and which I presented as a fact in my previous post) is that MSX is just a cool three letter combination, and that the meanings of the letters came later. I must say, yes, I do believe that. Why? Because it's common and typical japanese.

It's like MacroMedia saying MX doesn't mean anything, other than it's the name of their line of products.

So you might see that as changing stories, but what Nishi actually did was tell different people different meanings. Brilliant marketing!

You draw your own conclusions. You are very good at drawing conclusions on too little information anyway, so.. please go ahead Smile
I don't know to which conclusions and what information you refer to, but it's very simple: You don't know what kind of information I have access to!
So what you've just done here is draw a conclusion based on too little information. Hmmm...

C'mon... Try to learn NOT to play at the person. It's really not that hard!
It seems it's hard for you to follow that rule, as your reply was very explicitly insulting, and was moderated because of that.

Well,
I must admit my reaction was "a little bit" overdone Wink But I thought I would just give you a piece of your own way of treating people.
But I guess I already know what's wrong with you.. You don't know the difference between normal use of language and insulting people. That's OK, I guess you can't help it ..

Anyway, I will behave a bit nicer and not go as far as in my previous message Smile

What I don't get is why a lot of ppl judge me on the <1% aggressive posts I made and try to interpret everything I say as an attack.

You yourself are guilty of that too, as in a particular recent newspost thread you were yelling "fight, fight, fight!" where there was none, at least not from my side.

Anyway, let's not have this discussion in two threads at the same time Tongue

It comes up relatively often, but the last time you might probably remember is on comp.sys.msx, where BTW tfh posted similar things.
