Hi there im new to the site as you can tell by my post cound and was wondering if i bought an amstrad cpc game on tape and tried to boot it with the MSX 2. what would happen? would it work or are they system specific.

It won't work, because both systems are really different : not the same processors (although you find the Z80 in common), not the same BIOS, not the same BASIC ...
