Dig Dug in MSX BASIC? No way, cannot be! Too slow. Except if Turbo-Basic (Basic Kun) is used?
Mappy seems a far more impressive feat, given scrolling and general faithfulness to the original. Choppiness of Dig Dug's animation is a clear giveaway that it's not the original.
All the same, very impressive.

Too good to be true, I guess :(

Some people just won't change. Thank God I didn't even saw whatever that was.

I'm guessing yes, that is the case. Or maybe it is running on a turbo-R. Or both.

I know, but even then, seeing that made in BASIC is impressive. And I agree, Mappy with scrolling and everything else is very impressive too!
I just wish I had more info on those games. Apparently someone noticed it before me ;)
Yay, found him on twitter: https://twitter.com/basicprogrammer/status/87858036532078182...
ARTRAG had reported this game last year but nobody found anything.
