Anyway, search engines gives easily examples on which platforms this game was on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savage_%28video_game%29

These people did release one of their earlier games on the MSX called Trantor, but I cannot say why they stopped after that. Possibly because people didn't like Spectrum ports, and this game is really squeezing the best out of the Spectrum.

Hum... regardless of my remarks a while ago about that chip, this for sure is some excellent use of the SID.

By looking at the ZX-Spectrum version, this is a game that would have been very easy to be made for the MSX1 with better performance and more detailed graphics, because the name table can be used hardware-accelerate the screen updates 64x faster.

a great improvement would be the use of hw sprites but i think there is a lot of flickering involved.
plus the sprites are BIG
the 64x faster sound suspect to me. why? did you mean 8x?
