Well, just try it first, as it works fine for Meits
(... or use Linux, that works too.)
I'm still thinking DiskManager is messing things up here.
You could also create a 360kB formatted disk image (in an emulator emulating the SVI-738), copy your files on it (with the emulator as well) and write it directly to the floppy disk with a simpler tool like dcopy.exe.
I tried to format using blueMSX, but it didn't detect the disk drive.
But I thought, based on these threads, that Disk Manager was the easiest and most reliable way to copy games to disks.
Anyway, I'll consider these tips you guys are giving me. Thanks
1) format disk on your real MSX
2) extract the games from the disk images
3) put the disk in your PC
4) drag the files to the disk
That's really it. You want me to film it? I can't understand why you don't succeed.
Toni, i said "format a disk image", not a real floppy disk!

I guess you haven't been reading all my posts, and I understand it, because I'm starting to be annoying with my messages. The thing is I "succeed" in copying disks, although they don't always work. And then I can't load the games I see after typing "files".

True, sorry.
Well, how can I create a disk image with a MSX emulator? I don't have a clue, I've only tried to create images with the Disk Manager so far. And I say "tried" because as I have told the games I drag to the Disk Manager don't become a "unified" file with the typical disk image icon.
ah, sorry

Make a copy of an existing DSK file, rename it and format it. That's the easiest.

Definitely there's something I don't grasp here
I click on some already made -and working- disk image, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, rename it, open the blueMSX and then... format? So... erase?
if you have a mac it is even easier;
-> download .DSK file to desktop
-> rename it to .IMG
-> double click open the IMG (will mount as 'Untitled' disk on the desktop)
-> add/remove files (max. up to 720kB)
-> put 'Untitled' disk to the trashcan
-> rename .IMG file it back to .DSK
a voila!
