E-Media ? Kindle/Tablet/Printout/Other Options ?

Hey guys, A bit of a strange question this time.

So.. Old computers.. We used to sweat over those listings in the magazines as kids. Now the magazines are mostly gone and we rely on PDF's. Now a don't know about you but my MSX won't read PDF's So how do we port download's to our MSX ?

OK I'm going to ignore ALL the GNET cart options or Carnivore Options where you using SD Cards or RJ45 Network cables.

I'm going OLD SCHOOL !

The obvious choice is to simply print out my listing on the PC/Laptop and type it into the the MSX. BUT i don't have a printer so there's that ! :/

My next option is to load the file into my Amazon Kindle and use that next to my MSX and re-type the listing that way. It sorta works but is a bit of a pain if you need to scroll right.

So what other options can you suggest or recommend. Cost is an issue.

I often prefer to just buy the hardcopy/book/magazine as then I HAVE it unless there's a fire in the house. Ive still got books and mags from my childhood and many 'digital' books/files are long gone due to HD failure or some other reason.

Let me know your thoughts.

SCAN + OCR Example into emulator then tape transfer.
Or try a Google search: Probably in the last 30~40 years someone already typed those programs and put them online.

Is there a cheep adapter for PC to cassette ? How can i record to cassette from laptop ?

Then an audio cable from laptop audio-out to tape recorder audio-in (or line-out/in) should suffice. You'll probably need to do a few tests to find a sweet spot for the audio levels/parameters.

OK I don't know how to do that. I have a headphone jack socket on the laptop and i can solder up a male to male jack plugs or perhaps buy one but i doubt my data cassette recorder is plug n play ! So how do i 'Play' a listing to cassette ? Some sort of audio player ? or do i need an emulator or yea I've no idea :/

old dutch magazine listing already dsk file. to use in blue msx. the basic file can be saved as a cas file in blue msx and with msx2cas on a mobile phone straigt into the msx or headphone out to the rec. datarecorder with a minijack minijack cable and write it on tape.
