I'm interested on buying the GP2X game console for playing MSX games through the fmsx emulator.
Have you ever done this? Is it a good experience?
Best regards,

Maybe it's better to buy a Dingoo? Supported by both fMSX and openMSX and it could be cheaper...
I don't really know which one is te best. Can you help me?
Dingoo is more modern, so more powerful, I guess. I have a Dingoo myself and openMSX runs really great on it.
Wouter (of openMSX team) has a GP2X. We've never really compared them, but he did say that the GP2X is slower.
I have a GP2X Wiz and my experience with Wiz fMsx is bad:
*Do not load all the discs images
*The sound is good but the volume is very low
*If you put the emulation at 60 frames per second, the emulation is fast and the music run fast, why?
*Bad screen scale
*Screen 7 do not look good (not a smart scale to show the better definition)
*MSX2+ emulation lacs of the screen6 logo at boot and Horizontal hardware scroll.
*If you choose the high sound volume the emulator has constant clicks.
On PSP is the same buggy emulation, I am waiting to PSP Vita, this console has enought power to run BlueMSX, a much better emulator.
Try Dingoo and OpenMsx emulator.
the first gp32 console works great with msx emulator FMS32 RU MSX EDITION,really great,I guess this gp32x is better should work better...
