wow, that's great news Smile thanks Eugeny!

notes about default passwords issue - imho there should be some kind of activation, which is performed once with default password and requires/forces you to change password, so there will be no real users who has default password in use. this activation should receive from server and store in device some kind of cookie or similar which have to be used with requests to indicate that account is activated and access to other functionality is allowed

Is there a version without docker? I don't feel like learning docker just to install 1 program and the there is not really a tutorial on the website.

Here. Instructions are in the manual.

one would expect that setting up the dotnet command would be easy Smile but it seems that there is quite a lot of knowledge required to get it to work.

I followed these instructions:
https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/linux-package-manager...

wget -q <a href="https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/18.04/packages-microsoft-prod.deb" title="https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/18.04/packages-microsoft-prod.deb">https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/18.04/packages-...</a>
sudo dpkg -i packages-microsoft-prod.deb

I already have HTTPS functionality isntalled so that wasn't needed.

So those are nicely added to the repository, I then do this: sudo apt-get update

Followed by:

vampier@server2:~$ sudo apt-get install dotnet-hosting-2.0.9
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package dotnet-hosting-2.0.9
E: Couldn't find any package by glob 'dotnet-hosting-2.0.9'
E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'dotnet-hosting-2.0.9'

So at this time there is nothing available to be installed for the .net on ubuntu is seems.

the wget command has the url - msx.org makes it into the parsed link as you see there

I was using Ubuntu version 14, do not recall exact version (have no installation any more). Installed relatively easily, and do not recall "hosting" in installation name. Probably you are trying wrong component from the package? I am not skilled in the Linux, can not advise much on it.
