Hi all, I introduce myself.

I'm a passionate videogamer and collector and now i'm starting to grow my knowledge and collection about MSX. I'm still learning everything about this fascinating platform and games. I hope to find a lot of informations about them and make some good deal! Smile

Welcome to MSX World .....

Day by day ... MSX still remain the best computer/system of all times.

Amstrad, Amiga, Spectrum and Commodore ... All gone ... But MSX will remain as part of our life ... And you can take me and thousands like me ... As example ... We stay away for more than 25 years ... And now ... We started again ...

It is basically ..Magic ... Yes Magic ... No doubt

Welcome to the forums MonsterSky. It wasn't all that long ago that I was a newbie to the MSX world as well, especially regarding MSX hardware. Now I'm just a Novice who owns actual hardware. : ) Everyone else here is a Master of MSX, so feel free to ask any specific questions, especially if you are looking to purchase hardware. Smile

You would first want go get a good understanding of the different stages of MSX's life: MSX > MSX2 > MSX2+ > MSX Turbo R and which games / software you would want to play most. I think generally speaking an MSX2+ is the way to go if you want a full range of software, but if you want to play anything and everything (except tape games directly that is) then getting a Turbo R might be more your style.

If you do end up getting MSX hardware, you should consider getting a nice Flash cart which can double-back as a harddrive.

Good luck in your quest to learn about MSX. : )
