Backup Katsuyou Technique magazine was published between 1985-1994 and it had many MSX articles unfindable in MSX Magazines and MSX FANs such as copying, cracking, modifying, original hardware, tricks & pokes. Articles occasionally came with dump list. It also advertised rare MSX products.
AFAIK it deserved few attention outside Japan but was fabulous among Japanese PC users and is hoard of valuable info such as turboR tape reading utility preceding TRCAS. Someone was kind enough to upload an entire article list reachable from the docs.google.com link here, and automatic translation would give you insight. If you are subscribed to Japanese Amazon and Kindle Unlimited, you can browse entire 40 issues for 980 JPY.

No, texts in Kindle documents are always unselectable. There are online kindle format/.azw to .txt converters but they didn't work.

Scans of the first 4 volumes plus a 5th (omnibus) can be downloaded for free from GameSx site.

I couldn't find the scans but GameSx's explanation is surely easy to understand. Googling "Backup Technique" magazine reveals it drew Western attention for dealing Amiga.
