I follow'ed.

I never noticed much difference but then again I always export to 128KB/S for online sharing purposes, at least the DAW/dance stuff.

According to people who (think they) know Soundcloud compresses, no matter if it's already 128kb/s. So lossy becomes even more lossy. Mentioned people only upload wav, flac and opus. After my discovery I went to wav as I can spare those 2 seconds more Wink
A few days ago I did a test with a VBR (128/320) MP3 and a full wav. Differences were minimal. Hi-hats suffer a lot of damage and the mix becomes a tad blurry...

OK, let's self-promote! Smile I'm also on SoundCloud.

I have my MSX Moonsound music there, as wel as songs I made with MiGTracker.
I'll upload more once I have sorted my collection out.

Great by the way that you are combining all these accounts. I'm also interested in following MSX related composers :D.

I don't purposely try to "combine" all MSX accounts to my "list" of following artists, but its just part of my interest :D

Hello MSX people, my first post here!

I'm new to MSX and moonblaster music production, but I would like to share my first song with you.
I've worked with a lot of music software and trackers on other computers, but right now I'm experimenting with my MSX.
I really like the OPL sound and raw sampling the Music Module does.

My first song on soundcloud is just 1 min long and very experimental. I'm still figuring out Moonblaster...
(hope you like it SYN! Tongue)
There will be more soon, including the FM-PAK and OPL4 shockwave..

Very nice first try, I love the punchy drums and the various melodies!

Also, welcome to the msx world! We indeed have a lot of different soundchips, and i've heard there are more expansions in the works. I think in a few years we will have all the classic yamaha chips here ;)

And thanks for sharing your channels guys, keep them coming! :D

@BiT
How nice to see a new Moonblaster/MSX-Audio person. I thought I was the only one left alive Big smile
If you have a "is this possible? and how?" question I probably have the answer.

I can hear you probably have quite some chiptune experience. Good job. Good to hear fresh tunes from unexpected sources Smile
