If the tune is made with MoonBlaster WAVE (which I think it is), the OPL3 FM part is not used.

Somehow the tempo instability of openMSX worried me for a bit, but after recording a simple rhythm from openMSX and MSX and superimposing them, openMSX's recording had no issues in its tempo... Smile

This bug was fixed Aug 2011. Though that bad recording was made using openMSX-0.8.1, and that version was already released Mar 2011. (And also in 0.8.1 the bug only showed up in certain configurations).

It was a good test anyway. Some people couldn't hear the bug! Smile

is the real hardware none modified?
afaik someone said a couple of resistors and/or capacitors should be switched out on the Panasonic FS-A1ST/GT turboR for "better" sound. https://www.msx.org/news/en/fs-a1st-and-fs-a1gt-msx-turbo-rs...

Wops, I just saw this thread is super old! Please delete my comment if possible.

If a comment is relevant, it doesn't matter. Better reactivate an old thread than starting a similar one.
But you were in the wrong topic. This is about Moonsound, not the audio output of a turbo R computer. Wink
