It seems that people like to take all kind of quizzes about MSX. Usually you can see 8 pixels from a last level enemy sprite's upper corner, 1mm x 1mm from collectors edition game cover or you can hear big boss of Japan only RPG that says "Beep" on PSG during end demo and you need to know exactly what game that was from. Ok, nice... but I can't ever really compete in these kind of quizzes... They are way too hard for me!

That is why I now made another kind of quiz for the other kind of MSX hobbyists!

Have fun!

65%, not bad. But I'm worried because I don't know what JIFFY is. Smile

25% (5 points), it is evident I have hardly used the MSX BIOS when devving. Smile
konamiman I don't know where it is, but I do know what it is: simple counter in RAM that the BIOS increments on each VBLANK IRQ.

Letting you know via IRC that BiFi got 18/20*. However! the 2 faults are actually your fault! Wink
It looks like on some questions, leading 0s are not permitted, eg. BIOS address 00xx is considered wrong, xx is correct.

*: 100% it is. Smile

It does say at the top, “Please answer questions with HEX-number only without any trailing or leading characters. Example: 1E8” Smile

Getting rusty (these days I prefer to just look things up), but still managed 55%
Been into MSX too long... Tongue

Nyyrikki, are you sure question #13 is correct? Is a 4-digit answer refused incorrectly, or did you confuse what the Z80 does with what hook is called?

After 12 hours I can say that the real winner is Guillian, who entered 90% score in less than 3.5 minutes (=No cheating) and 100% score just a moment later. BiFi also got it right in the end, but he started from 75% and worked his way up step by step.

Konamiman: JIFFY is also known as TIME in BASIC.

I agree that it was stupid to say "normal interrupt" (What is "normal" anyway?) and also yes... I forgot to add extra zeros as accepted answers to few questions. If you actually read the example answer you should get it right anyway. How ever answers are not changed anymore. It would not be fair to do that on the fly.
