Hi, guys!

I'm ATM in Tokyo and I'd like to visit some shops at the Electric City with - hopefully - some MSX stuff in the shelves. Any advice? Shop names and/or addresses would be perfect for this poor foreigner.

By the way, I've been already in Akihabara and I have played Compiile's Puyo-Puyo arcade at the Taito Center. Feeling retro, feeling great!

Any help would be welcome.

Unfortunately, I only saw (a little) MSX stuff in Super Potato.

Some years ago I was quite lucky in Sofmap 5:

This was in 2001 anyway, nowadays I guess it is a bit more difficult to find MSX stuff there.

PS. How many hair I had then... ;(

I'll be back today finally. I'll tell you my experiences, if I could find anything MSX-related. Thank you all!

SUPER POTATO is still crammed with MSX stuff: games and hardware, including Konamis and a good lot of MSX2+ computers. And an impressive A1-SPIRIT joystick,an original OCM. And guess what: the BSO of the floor was an MSX playing NEMESIS III!

BSO? Best Selling Offer?

Also, what are the average prices you've encountered?

Loose MSX cartridges: 1.700 yen - 3.500 yen
Boxed MSX cartridges: 3.500 yen onwards
Unboxed MSX2/2+ computers: 12.000 - 18.000 yen
Boxed Sony MSX2+: 26.000 yen
Original boxed OCM: 16.000 yen

All prices approximated, 'cause I'm just trying to remember them all. I have NOT bought anything in Akihabara Sad

BSO means "music": there was an MSX playing NEMESIS III connected to a big sound amplifier and that was the music of that floor: SCC forever!

Nice prices. About 130 euro's for an OCM, not a bad price compared to the ones @ ebay for > 400 eur...... Guess I need to book a holiday to Japan Tongue
