They are more distinct in reality, it looks good to me. Note I used my mobile phone camera to photograph a screen in bad lighting conditions, and there’s moiré and jpeg artefacts too. You can’t judge colour from these pictures.

But the OSSC does have settings for colour space and offset / scale settings for the individual colour components, so you can tune it. I left it at the default which seems fine.

p.s. I do kind of want an OLED screen now Big smile. But I don’t think they come in small sizes.

Yeah definitely I am really happy with the OSSC. It’s slightly off-topic for this thread actually because it is an RGB to HDMI converter, but I think if the point is to hook up an MSX to a modern monitor this is the best solution since VGA connectors are also slowly disappearing from monitors and TVs. It dropped a bit in price as well since I posted this.

I think it also really shows how good an RGB connection is. The OSSC does not sharpen the signal or anything, it already comes out of the MSX this sharp.

And you could actually use an HDMI to VGA adapter to connect the MSX through OSSC and HDMI-VGA cable to a VGA CRT (which are much cheaper than SCART based CRT’s especially above 14 inch), I used it to connect to a DELL 17 inch CRT just for fun but the image was really good!
