Hi! I have found a surprise in "The Sound of Scenesat vol 1". Listen the song number 10 in CD2 (Mordi - Big Deal). Do you remember the music and the game? Big smile

I like this song!

Yeah, it's the tune from RadX-8. :)

I'm (amongst others) working on music arrangements of the games Titanic and Hype, but it's for the long run so don't know when they will be finished.

On the C64 this is a tune by Jeroen Kimmel.

RadX-8 is from the same year.

Now, who is the real composer?

Don't tell me the tunes from the Topografie series aren't original creations either Crazy

Jeroen Kimmel was employed (or hired) by Radarsoft, if I'm not mistaken. According to him he was the creator on C64 (youtube). However, the music, written by Tony Banks (former Genesis) is from the movie Quicksilver, released in 1986. and is called "Smilin'Jack Casey". The music can be listened here.

Thank you! This is the second time that I recognize a movie theme only from a computer tune, after the Terminator theme from a C64 demo. Somehow computer themes are a lot stickier in my brain.

So it seems Radarsoft really only used second hand music for its games.
